Corporate Important Update: MailChannels’ Email Sending API for Cloudflare Workers to be Terminated By Ken Simpson | 2 minute read At MailChannels, our mission is to empower safer connections in an open world. We have been committed to supporting internet email as a truly open protocol since 2012. In early 2022, we launched a free, simple API for sending emails through Cloudflare Workers to learn about developers’ needs and the type of email traffic they send. We want to express our gratitude to the Cloudflare Workers community for their support and valuable insights. After careful consideration, we have decided to terminate our free email sending API for Cloudflare Workers customers on June 30th, 2024, after which time, the API will stop accepting requests. We encourage users to migrate their applications to alternative email sending services before the termination date. Our support team is available to provide guidance during this transition. Looking ahead, we are excited to apply the lessons learned from this experience to develop a new email sending service that will better serve developers’ needs, focusing on openness, comprehensive features, reliability, security, and native support for email authentication protocols including DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI. MailChannels remains dedicated to our mission of empowering safer connections in an open world, and we will continue to invest our engineering talents in keeping email open and secure for millions of users. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Ken Simpson, CEO, MailChannels
