What Is a Marketing Email?

A marketing email is promotional and typically sent to a list of recipients with the goal of:

Examples include:

  • Product recommendations
  • Event announcements

Marketing emails are usually sent in bulk and must meet consent requirements (opt-in) under most privacy laws.
